Administrators' Days

Each year thousands of Nebraska students graduate from high school unprepared for college-level math courses. Once in college, these students spend valuable time and money on prerequisite courses, which can create a barrier to degree or program completion. Created by all six Nebraska community colleges, the Nebraska Math Readiness Project (NMRP) has spent five years successfully working with 67 districts of every size in every corner of the state. Working in a blended classroom environment in the high school, students are obtaining mastery of math and create a bridge to college-level math courses. These students are entering and persisting in college at a greater rate, achieving success in college math at higher levels, and earning higher college GPAs.
