Participants will learn more about the capabilities of the Nebraska Information Analysis Center (NIAC) and the Technical Crimes Unit (TCU) and how we can partner with schools to keep staff and students safe. Topics will include but are not limited to: • Threat analysis- This includes social media research and monitoring and open-source search analysis of potential threats in your school. Our analysts will conduct this research and then share it with you to assist in your decision-making process. Simply send a request to NEFusionCenter@nebraska.gov and an analyst will assist you. • Situational Awareness Bulletins- Informative products regarding trends that may pose risks to your school. • Information Sharing Meeting- This is a quarterly meeting that brings private sector partners and law enforcement together to discuss risks, trends, and other potential threats in the area. This is an open information-sharing forum that allows everyone the opportunity to share important information and build relationships with other key partners. • Internet Safety Presentations- We can provide presentations to students and staff about the dangers of the net.
