Norris High School has embarked on a new attendance policy in helping curb chronic absenteeism. Through consistent student absence tracking, frequent student and parent communication, weekly MTSS meetings with a major focus on attendance, and a new policy including the potential loss of credit, staff members are more informed about student attendance, and attendance rates have improved greatly from previous years.
