We've seen a marked increase in due process petitions and state complaints over the last year, and it doesn't look like those are going away. This presentation will cover key compliance and training issues we're all likely to see this upcoming school year. The presentation will be designed to give all layers of administration information they'll need, so we hope to see superintendents, principals, and special education administrators. We'll also spend some time talking about students with severe behavioral needs, violent outbursts, and some of the most difficult decisions teams have to make in these cases, using some recent Nebraska examples to add some tools to your toolboxes.
