With suicide being a leading cause of death of school aged youth, addressing mental health must be a high priority for school administrators and staff. This session will cultivate an awareness of NDE School Safety resources for suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention. The session will also overview resources to expand parents' learning about ways to address suicide and promote safe and healthy living.
