Nebraska's English Language Arts Standards have been written to enhance learning, earning, and living for our students. The four shifts in instruction have been updated to improve student outcomes with foundational reading/writing, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and speaking/listening. In today's ELA classrooms, these shifts have accelerated educator efficacy, as well. Heightened capacity with both teachers and students lead to more engaged and purposeful learning and living!
